Candidate Privacy Notice

RC Consulting Solutions, LLC d/b/a RC Talent ("RC Talent," "we," "us," or "our") respects the privacy of candidates and job seekers. This Candidate Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information in connection with recruiting, staffing, employment opportunities, and related talent services.

This notice applies when you apply for a position through RC Talent, submit your résumé, communicate with an RC Talent recruiter, participate in an interview or screening process, or are otherwise considered for an employment or professional opportunity.

RC Talent recruits for positions with our client companies and may also recruit for positions directly with RC Talent.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with RC Talent, we may collect information such as:

• Contact information, including your name, email address, phone number, location, and mailing address when provided.
• Professional information, including your résumé or CV, LinkedIn or other professional profile, employment history, current or previous employers, job titles, skills, experience, education, certifications, licenses, professional qualifications, and portfolio information.
• Application information, including positions you apply for, responses to application or screening questions, work authorization and sponsorship information, compensation expectations, availability, geographic preferences, and other information you choose to provide.
• Recruiting and assessment information, including recruiter notes, screening notes, interview feedback, communications, references, candidate evaluations, and information related to your progress through a recruiting or hiring process.
• Opportunity and placement information, including positions for which you have been considered, submitted, interviewed, offered employment, or placed.
• Technical information, such as IP address, browser or device information, website activity, and similar information collected when you use our website or online application tools.

Please do not provide Social Security numbers, financial account information, medical information, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive information unless RC Talent specifically requests that information through an appropriate and authorized process.

2. Where We Obtain Information

We may receive candidate information:

• directly from you;
• through applications, résumé submissions, emails, calls, interviews, or other communications with us;
• from professional networking platforms and other publicly available professional sources;
• from referrals or individuals who recommend you for an opportunity;
• from our clients when they ask us to contact or consider you;
• from references you provide; and
• from recruiting, technology, verification, or other service providers where permitted by law.

3. How We Use Candidate Information

We may use your information to:

• review and evaluate your background for employment and professional opportunities;
• determine whether your experience may align with a current or future search;
• communicate with you about applications, interviews, opportunities, and recruiting activity;
• conduct recruiter screenings and maintain recruiting notes;
• coordinate interviews and other steps in the hiring process;
• present or submit your background to client companies or prospective employers in connection with relevant opportunities;
• communicate with clients regarding your candidacy and the recruiting process;
• maintain records of applications, candidate relationships, submissions, interviews, placements, and recruiting activity;
• consider you for future opportunities that may be relevant to your background;
• improve our recruiting processes, candidate experience, technology, and services;
• protect the security and integrity of our systems and prevent misuse or fraud;
• comply with legal, regulatory, contractual, and recordkeeping obligations; and
• establish, exercise, or defend legal claims when necessary.

4. Recruiting Technology and AI-Assisted Tools

RC Talent may use recruiting software, automation, and artificial intelligence-assisted tools to help our team organize, search, summarize, format, review, or manage candidate and recruiting information.

These tools are intended to support our recruiters and recruiting operations. RC Talent does not rely solely on automated processing to make final hiring decisions.

For opportunities with our client companies, the client ultimately makes its own hiring decision and may use its own systems, processes, or technologies.

5. How We Share Candidate Information

We may disclose relevant candidate information to:

• Client companies and prospective employers in connection with positions for which you are being considered;
• Hiring managers and members of hiring teams involved in evaluating candidates;
• Service providers that support our recruiting operations, website, application forms, communications, scheduling, hosting, data storage, document processing, analytics, security, automation, or technology systems;
• Professional advisors, such as attorneys, accountants, insurers, or consultants, when reasonably necessary;
• Government authorities or other parties when disclosure is required or permitted by law; and
• Parties involved in a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate protections and applicable law.

RC Talent does not sell candidate personal information as a standalone product or to data brokers for their independent marketing or advertising purposes. Candidate information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or sale of all or part of RC Talent, subject to applicable law and the commitments described in this Notice.

RC Talent may share information with the employer associated with a position you apply for and may consider you for other relevant opportunities unless you ask us not to do so.

6. Client Companies

RC Talent provides recruiting, search, staffing, and talent services to other organizations.

When you are considered for a position with one of our clients, RC Talent may provide relevant information about you to that client as part of the recruiting process.

Once a client receives your information, that organization may process your information under its own privacy practices and legal obligations. RC Talent does not control all uses of information by independently operated client companies.

When applicable, you should review any privacy notices provided directly by the prospective employer.

7. Background Checks and Other Verification

A client company may request references, employment verification, background screening, or other pre-employment checks as part of its hiring process.

If RC Talent obtains a background report or other consumer report for employment purposes where separate disclosure or authorization is required by law, any required disclosure and authorization will be provided separately.

This Candidate Privacy Notice is not intended to serve as authorization for a background check.

8. Data Retention

We retain candidate information for as long as reasonably necessary to support our recruiting and staffing activities, maintain candidate relationships, consider individuals for current or future opportunities, meet legal and recordkeeping obligations, resolve disputes, and protect our legitimate business interests.

The length of time information is retained may vary based on the nature of the information, your relationship with RC Talent, recruiting activity, legal requirements, and whether there is an ongoing or reasonably foreseeable business need for the information.

You may contact us if you no longer wish to be considered for future opportunities or would like to request deletion of information, subject to applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements.

9. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal information, which may include the ability to:

• request access to certain personal information we maintain about you;
• request correction of inaccurate information;
• request deletion of certain information;
• request a copy of certain information;
• object to or restrict certain uses of your information where applicable; or
• ask RC Talent not to contact or consider you for future opportunities.

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. Some information may be retained where permitted or required by law.

10. Communications and Future Opportunities

If you apply for a role, submit your résumé, or otherwise engage with RC Talent, we may contact you regarding that opportunity and other professional opportunities we reasonably believe may be relevant to your background.

You may ask us at any time not to contact you about future opportunities.

Where communications are subject to separate marketing or communications laws, we will honor applicable consent and opt-out requirements.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No website, electronic transmission, storage system, or security measure is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Third-Party Websites and Services

Our website, application process, or communications may contain links to or use services provided by third parties.

Those organizations may have their own privacy practices, and their handling of information may be governed by their respective privacy policies.

13. Changes to This Notice

We may update this Candidate Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect changes in our recruiting practices, technology, services, or legal requirements.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this notice indicates when it was most recently revised.
